Entraide Femmes Afrique-Canada (EFAC) is dedicated to empowering women, youth, newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable individuals and families by providing essential support, education, and resources that promote dignity, inclusion, and self-sufficiency. Our mission is to relieve poverty, advance education, and strengthen communities by offering settlement assistance, mentorship, employment support, skills development programs, and access to community resources. Through compassion, collaboration, and advocacy, EFAC helps individuals overcome barriers, build confidence, and successfully participate in Canadian society.

Supporting Individuals And Families Through Challenges

We help women, youth, newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable families access essential resources and community support. Through referrals, settlement assistance, and practical guidance, we help individuals meet their immediate needs while building a stronger foundation for the future.

Building Knowledge, Skills, And Confidence

Education is a pathway to independence. Our workshops, mentoring programs, and educational resources support language development, financial literacy, digital skills, entrepreneurship, leadership, and life skills, helping individuals gain the knowledge and confidence to succeed.

Successful integration begins with connection. We help newcomers, immigrants, and refugees navigate Canadian society through orientation, community mentoring, information services, and inclusive activities that encourage cultural understanding, participation, and meaningful relationships.

We empower women, youth, and vulnerable individuals through employment readiness, skills development, mentorship, resume preparation, interview coaching, and career opportunities. By removing barriers and creating pathways to employment, we help individuals achieve greater self-sufficiency and build a brighter future.
